Beavers look to end season on a high note; host Bemidji and Crookston.

MINOT, N.D. – This weekend will be one last hurrah for Minot State volleyball this season, with ample opportunity to end it on a positive. After falling 3-1 to MSU-Mankato and 3-0 to St. Cloud State last week on the road, the Beavers are determined to finish strong in front of the hometown fans. With it being the final two home games on the schedule, the Beavers will also be honoring their three seniors on "Senior Night" when they battle Bemidji State on November 10. Tea Boeckel, Emily Kotelnikoff, and Jenna Pahlen are set to be recognized before first serve at 6:00 p.m. Minot State Athletics wishes them all the best in their future careers following their volleyball tenure. They will dawn the Beaver jersey one last time when Minot State takes on Minnesota-Crookston in the final home game. It is a 2:00 p.m. start time between the Beavers and Golden Eagles in another Saturday matinee.

Even with emotions running high this weekend, this will not be the first rodeo for Minot State facing off with Bemidji and Crookston this season. The Beavers of Bemidji extended their winning streak on Minot to five matches back on September 23 with a 3-0 victory in Minnesota. Bemidji owns an 11-7 record all-time against the Minot State Beavers. Crookston on the other hand is a much more favorable matchup for Minot, as the Beavers reverse swept the Golden Eagles to win 3-2 on September 22. The Eagles still possess a winning record against Minot, having won 14 of the last 20 matches. Although, the Beavers will carry a two-game winning streak on Crookston heading into Saturday's matchup.

Bemidji State and Minnesota-Crookston represent the final series of the regular season for Minot State volleyball. At the conclusion of the match versus the Golden Eagles, the Beavers will head into the offseason and turn their focus to recruiting for next year's squad. Be sure to come out to the Dome early on Friday to watch Tea Boeckel, Emily Kotelnikoff, and Jenna Pahlen for acknowledgments of the Seniors who have given countless hours to the program.
