NCBWA PRESEASON ALL-AMERICANS
MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State baseball team has yet to hit the diamond to start the 2024 season and first baseman
Gunnar Kozlowitz continues to rack up honors.
Named to the NCBWA All-Central Region Team at the start of the week, the redshirt junior from Littleton, Colorado added another honor today as he was named to the NCBWA NCAA Division II Preseason All-American 2
nd Team.
Last season, Kozlowitz led the Beavers in batting average (.410) and home runs (16) and was second on the team in RBIs (53).
More than an offensive powerhouse, the Minot State first baseman was also named to the ABCA All- Central Region Defensive Team and to the All-NSIC Defensive Team while earning ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region 2nd Team and All-NSIC 1st Team honors.
Kozlowitz and the rest of the Minot State baseball team hit the field in three weeks for opening day, playing a four-game series in Kansas with single games against host Washburn on Thursday, Feb. 15, and Saturday, Feb. 17, and neutral-site single games against Regis (Colo.) on Friday, Feb. 16, and Sunday, Feb. 18, in Kansas.
