BISMARCK, N.D.- The Beavers golf teams came out successful after the Marauder Invitational with the men's A team finishing in 2
d and the women's team in 3
rd.

Holly Knudsen proved herself as a leader on the women's team once again as she finished 2nd to Carrie Carmichael as both shot 18-over 162, but Carmichael won the individual title on the second hole of a playoff.

Notably, this was also Knudsen's 4
th top-10 finish in 4 tournaments this fall season.

On the women's side, the Beavers shot a team-total of 128-over par (363). Following Knudsen was
Zoe Banack who finished in 5
th after shooting 29-over par (173). Right behind Banack was
Lauryn Keller finishing in 6
th place shooting 33-over par (177).
Abigail Goettle finished tied for 14
th after shooting 48-over par (192).

The women's title of the Marauder Invite was claimed by the hosts, University of Mary shooting a team total of 355 (166-over par).

On the men's side,
Chase Gedak led the Beavers for the 3
rd competition in a row. Gedak shot 6-over par (150) placing him tied for 5
th with fellow teammate,
Jace Carslisle.

Next up for the Beavers was
Zach Hendrickson who tied for 11
th after shooting 12-over par (156). Tied for 15
th was
Darien Herlick who shot 15-over par (159).
Joshua Tu tied for 17
th shooting 16-over par (160).
Winston Grayson shot 18-over par (162) placing him tied for 20
th.

The men's A team clinched 2
nd place by shooting a team total of 317 (36-over par).

The men's B team finished in 7
th with a team total of 341 (93-over par).

The men's title of the Marauder Invite was won by Augustana. Augustana shot a team-total of 313 (22-over par).

The Beavers will take a week off competition but return to the greens on October 14
th and 15
th for the USF Invitational at the Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa.
