Box Score SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Minot State baseball team had to settle for 3 out of 4 as the Winona State Warriors took the finale of an NSIC series with the Beavers, 12-2 at the Sanford Sports Complex in a neutral-site series.
Minot State won the first three ballgames, 10-6, 7-2, and 8-6 as the host team in the four-game weekend played in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Ricky Apodaca and 
Colton Bagshaw each drove in a run in the bottom of the sixth inning on Sunday for the Beavers (7-11 overall, 4-4 NSIC), which cut the difference to 8-2 at the time.
Bagshaw had three hits in the game, as did 
Brian Parry.
The setback snapped Minot State's four-game win streak, which the Beavers will look to restart next weekend when they play back-to-back doubleheaders at Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday and Sunday.
