BISMARCK, N.D. – The Minot State men's and women's golf teams will stay close to home next week, traveling to Bismarck, North Dakota, to compete in the 5th Annual Marauders Tournament at Hawktree Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday.
The Beavers enter the tournament looking to build on their performances from earlier this week at the Jewel Invitational.
On the men's side, Minot State is coming off a strong showing highlighted by freshman
Kasen Rostad's first career top-10 finish. Rostad placed ninth at the Jewel Invitational, shooting a two-day total of 4-under-par (140), including a career-best opening round of 69.
Zach Hendrickson also turned in a steady performance, finishing 26th overall, while the Beavers placed eighth in the tournament.
For the women's team, Minot State will aim to continue building on their previous tournament after finishing 10th as a team at the Jewel Invitational.
Zoe Banack and
Abigail Goettle led the Beavers at the event, tying for 32nd with matching two-round totals of 162 (+20).
The 5th Annual Marauders Tournament presents another valuable opportunity for both Minot State teams to compete while continuing to build momentum throughout the fall season.
