MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State baseball team continues Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play, as the Beavers travel to Sioux Falls, S.D. to face Northern State in a doubleheader on Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m.
The doubleheader was originally scheduled to be played at Fossum Field in Aberdeen, S.D., but was moved due to unplayable field conditions for a recent snowstorm.

Minot State is 12-2 in NSIC play after sweeping Wayne State in a four-game series on March 30-31 in Wayne, Neb.
Celestino Rodriguez led the Beavers in the sweep while hitting .643 at the plate with nine hits and three RBIs and runs scored.
The current nine-game win streak is the longest win streak the Beavers have recorded since posting a 10-game win streak in 2006.
Minot State is hitting .259 as a team with 134 runs, 188 hits, 43 doubles, five triples and 24 home runs on the season.
Michael Borst leads Minot State at the plate while hitting .321, followed by Rodriguez with a .316 batting average.

Tannar Galey is 2-0 on the season with a 1.04 ERA while
Jeremy Sylvester is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA.
Scouting the Northern State Wolves
Northern State enters the doubleheader with a 9-11 overall record and 2-6 mark in NSIC play this season. Jack Schmidt paces the NSU offense with five home runs and 25 RBIs while hitting .452. Lucas Lorenz is hitting .243 with four home runs and 19 RBIs. Luke Chevalier is 3-1 on the mound with a 2.32 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 31 innings of work.
As a team, the Wolves are hitting .280 with 114 runs, 168 hits, 40 doubles, six triples and 15 home runs. The Northern State pitching staff has a team ERA of 6.56 while surrendering 106 earned runs on 185 hits and striking out 114 opposing batters.
