SMITHVILLE, MO. – The Minot State Women's Golf team wrapped up the opening round of the NSIC Championship in 8th place, posting a team score of 44-over 332 at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex.
Leading the Beavers,
Lauryn Keller turned in a strong performance, shooting a 10-over 82 to end the day tied for 7th place individually.
Taylor Cormier and
Holly Knudsen each carded a 13-over 85 and sit tied for 25th.
Abigail Goettle finished the round in 50th with an 18-over 90, while
Zoe Banack is in 52nd after shooting a 20-over 92.
Individually, Sioux Falls' Maggie Veenendall leads the tournament after shooting 1-under 71. In the team standings, Minnesota State Mankato sits atop the leaderboard with a 12-over 300.
