MINOT, N.D. — After splitting a pair of NSIC road games to close out the pre-break schedule, the Minot State women's basketball team returns home this week for one conference contest inside the Minot State University Dome. The Beavers will tip off Saturday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. as they continue NSIC play.

Minot State enters the week with a 7-7 overall record and a 4-3 mark in conference action following an 84-71 road victory over Bemidji State last Saturday. Jessica Mogen led the way with a career-high 29 points, surpassing her previous high of 21, while also adding three assists. Taryn Hamling followed closely with 23 points, six rebounds, and two steals, and Tiyahna Trottier contributed 13 points and two blocks.

The Beavers were active defensively throughout the contest, forcing 16 Bemidji State turnovers and converting those into 14 points. Minot State never trailed in the second half and controlled the game down the stretch, highlighted by strong play in the paint and efficient scoring during key runs.

Earlier in the week, Minot State opened the road trip with an 83-69 loss at Minnesota Duluth on Thursday despite a balanced offensive effort. Five Beavers scored in double figures, led by Maya Aguilar with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. Hamling also added 15 points and three steals, while Jaime Skeggs chipped in 12 points off the bench. Minot State knocked down eight three-pointers in the contest and forced 19 turnovers on the defensive end.

With one game on the schedule this week, the Beavers will look to carry their balanced scoring, defensive pressure, and strong interior play into Saturday's home matchup.

Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on January 3rd against University of Mary, at the Minot State University Dome.
